I have written a book about John Lennon and Paul McCartney titled,
The Good Guise: The Beatles, The Bible, Michael, and Mary. I am currently considering my options regarding the release of the entire work, but for now I am tentatively planning to release portions of the book on the Internet at various locations. Those interested in finding out more about the dates and locations of the releases can write to me at
jacobisaiah445@yahoo.com.
I would like to spend a few moments talking to you about the contents of the book.
The nature of the book is such that many who hear of it will conclude immediately that the contents of the book are false. However, I assure you that they are not. Through an unplanned chain of events I began writing this book about a year ago and I am now at the point that the main thrust of the book has been properly written down.
John Lennon and Paul McCartney headed up a band that accomplished many, many great things from a rock and roll point of view. None can deny that. The statistics are really quite astounding. For example, at the time The Beatles formally disbanded they had sold around 530 million units, including both albums and singles. Today, in 2006, that number surpasses one billion units. What is even more amazing is that these kinds of numbers were generated even though The Beatles had stopped touring during the latter portion of their career. This type of wide spread proliferation of music was unheard of at the time, even with the likes of Elvis lurking in the ranks of the great artists of that day.
The Good Guise sets out to explain that this kind of widespread acceptance of their music was no accident, and it was certainly not a fluke. I think I can honestly state that at the zenith of The Beatles’ career that almost everyone on the planet knew of them; had heard of them in some form of fashion; had heard at least a portion of their works. Of course, the infant and those old and near the time that they would pass away probably did not possess a good fix on the musical works of The Beatles, but for all practical purposes the entire world was aware of the music of The Beatles.
That is an amazing phenomenon, wouldn’t you agree?
Though I really just started working on The Good Guise during the summer of 2005, I did make a somewhat comical, at least at the time, observance about five years prior about a particular work of The Beatles, Yellow Submarine. I was looking at the cover of the album and it appeared to me that a caricature of Michael Jordan was on the cover of the original album cover. If a typical person is stopped on the street and asked to provide three characteristics of Michael Jordan the following items would be noted more often than not:
1) He was called ‘his Airness’ or ‘Air Jordan’. The shoes he marketed even bore this name.
2) The number 23. No other person in sports is more associated to a particular number than Michael is to the number 23.
3) His tongue. Discussions about how Michael displayed his tongue while playing never stopped while he was on the court.
While the cover of Yellow Submarine is obviously a drawing, there, in the upper right quadrant of the cover is a figure donning a shirt with the number 23 on it. This figure has what appears to be a lightning bolt of a tongue protruding from his mouth and his entire body is floating in the sky since he is pumped up full of ‘air’.
At this point please feel free to call it a humorous coincidence. However, by the time I have finished showing you just what is to be found inside the works of The Beatles you will no longer be the laughing critic.
As the years went by I pretty much forgot about this sighting of Michael on the cover of Yellow Submarine. About three or four years later, during the summer of 2005, I was looking at the album cover once again and I began to notice quite a few things about the cover. What I noticed in particular was that the left hand side of the cover contained a target, or, more specifically, a bulls-eye. I thought at that time that it seemed to symbolically represent an ending, or a destination. I then noticed that the right hand portion of the picture contained a snapping turk, one of the characters found in the movie. However, if one just looks at the lower portion of the snapping turk, one could easily conclude that what is seen is really a dinosaur’s head. Since dinosaurs are old and extinct, I interpreted this to represent a time much earlier and long ago. By integrating these two images on the cover, I concluded that the cover of Yellow Submarine was really not a drawing that represented a static image. Rather, the cover of Yellow Submarine could be seen as a timeline.
It turns out I was correct, this cover is in fact a timeline. I have been able to identify what the timeline on the cover pertains to. This timeline is covered in detail in The Good Guise.
There are many other aspects about this cover that I discuss in detail in my book, but suffice to say at this point that I was initially left in a bit of a quandary. That is, if this cover is a timeline and if Michael Jordan is on the cover, then surely there must be an explanation for this all to have happened. More importantly, there should also be a reason that this particular timeline appears on this album cover. Also, since the cover of Yellow Submarine was created right around the time that Michael was born, how could it be that he is depicted on the cover as he would be described some 40 years later?
I do realize that the majority of you possess only a view of the world that is explainable. Of course, we all know that there are reports on almost a daily basis that something unexplainable has happened, but the social etiquette of today requires us to discount those events as ‘not accurately reported’, or ‘misstatements made by an individual’. For example, UFO sightings, the notion of ghosts, premonitions, etc. All of these types of events, if they were in fact true, would be a clear indication that the reality we all co-exist in is in fact much different than we have collectively defined it to be.
And, of course, there is The Bible. Again, this book is sort of glossed over when specifics of it are conveyed from one person to another. Here, inside this ancient book, are reports of miracles happening, people being able to see into the future, and so forth. Again, we all sort of internalize these events in a way that each of us can easily explain in rational, explainable terms.
Most of us just conclude that it must not be correct. We cite reasons based on symbolic usage and/or use of linguistics during historical times to explain away and detract from the power of the literature found in The Bible. Also, most realize that many facets of Greek and Roman mythology have been incorporated into The Bible, leading most of us to conclude that it really is unable to stand on its own historically. As a result, it seems that most of The Bible is deemed best digested along with those most important ‘grains of salt’.
We all know that a person that speaks of The Bible at length outside of the ‘proper’ forum is deemed to be a person somewhat worth avoiding. Our culture today has arrived at the point that the Bible is used in society to help accomplish many surface level tasks and goals, but the idea that a person should actually go and live a life similar to that of Jesus is one that is not talked about with any widespread level of seriousness.
Basically, I concluded that this event we call reality was possibly really much different than each of our own filtered views of reality. It may be possible for unexplainable things to happen, and maybe they do happen all the time, with or without our acknowledgment.
I suppose that at the same time I was considering how to approach any sort of research about the cover of Yellow Submarine I also had kind of a circular flow of thoughts within me that contained, but was not limited to the following:
The use and appearance of the number 40. As any reader of the Bible knows, the number 40 is a recurring number throughout the entire Bible. Kings rule for 40 years in The Bible. People give birth at 40 years in The Bible. People wander for 40 years in The Bible. Jesus was in the desert for 40 days in The Bible, and so forth. I’m sure the number 40 appears hundreds of times throughout the entire Bible.
I found that some significant events related to The Beatles incorporate the notion of 40 as well. John was murdered at 40, for example. And, as you shall eventually come to understand, a 40-year period has elapsed between the release of the portion of their works that The Good Guise covers and the realization of what those particular works contain inside of them. These relationships of 40 are delved into in great detail in
The Good Guise.
Again, you can write all of my observations off as simply being a coincidence. However, I am curious as to how many coincidences you must encounter before you’ll agree that the mathematical probability of all of these coincidences taking place finally falls outside of your realm of explainable events.
I also recalled reading in the paper when John was murdered that Mark Chapman has stated that ‘God told me to kill John’. This was an indication to the ‘sane’ world that Mark was a nut case.
And, of course, there was Charles Manson. Now here was a man that obviously believed that each of the Beatles possessed some sort of a divine quality. Here was a man purporting that the Beatles were sending him messages about the ‘rise of the black man’ and also messages about ‘significant change in the future’.
It turns out that Charlie was right – The Beatles did come to deliver a message about the rise of the black man. However, though Charlie was fairly inspired regarding this notion a couple of things were playing against him regarding how to solidify his inclination about The Beatles. First, Charlie was a violent person, which caused him to interpret his inclinations in a very violent manner. Secondly, Charlie was looking at The Beatles in a real time manner, making it impossible to understand the complete message they were transmitting to the world. Only after The Beatles had ceased to release musical works to the public was there even a chance of understanding just what message is in their works.
So, with all of these types of thoughts, and many more as well regarding The Beatles, kind of gelling within me I ended up turning to The Bible with the hope of finding some sort of legitimate reference to The Beatles. To me, it seemed like a possibility because, as I stated earlier, the accomplishments of The Beatles did seem a bit other-worldly to me at times. At the very least, I felt that their accomplishments did seem to place them in a unique category related to the rest of human-kind.
Again, my inclination was correct, for it wasn’t long before I was making great progress regarding the generation of a biblical explanation regarding this phenomenon known as The Beatles; particularly John and Paul.
In Revelations 11 there is talk of two witnesses that come to this world and deliver prophetic messages for 1,260 days. It is a brief reference but when I read that passage I considered the fact that John and Paul were famous for assigning the Lennon-McCartney copyright to all songs that they did for a number of years, making the two of them forever tied to each other artistically. This distinction also serves to set them apart from the other two Beatles. This association with each other as co-authors is true even for songs that they both admit were written by just one of them.
So, I constructed a hypothesis that stated that John Lennon and Paul McCartney were the two witnesses that came and delivered prophetic messages to the world for a period of 1,260 days. At this point my research really went into high gear as it was now my highest priority to be able to disprove this hypothesis before I could move further on with my analysis of their musical works.
Over the course of the last year I have been unable to disprove this hypothesis. The research I have conducted over the course of the last year has progressed to the point that I am now able to state with certainty that John and Paul were those two witnesses as it is written in The Bible.
The story only gets better from here on out for I have identified the prophetic messages, or at least the bulk of them, that were delivered by John and Paul. These messages are contained in the works of John and Paul and each message is woven discreetly into more than one of their works. These prophetic messages are not easily found, but once one knows how to look at their works it becomes an achievable task. It turns out that the prophetic messages they delivered were a set of instructions that talk of finding something of great religious importance. Furthermore, the prophetic messages delivered also go one step further as they explain where it is located. Yes, that is correct; the prophetic messages give actual directions and physical descriptions regarding the location of probably the most important religious items of mankind’s existence.
Obviously, now that you understand what the book I have written will put forth to the reading public, I hope you can appreciate that much more needs to be said regarding this subject. The book is about 18 chapters long, and during the course of editing the chapters I have created about ten appendixes, lending a more structured approach to the more than several tangents the genius of Paul and John has led me down during my research. I believe that the word length of the text is about 70,000 words.
It is my contention that one of you, the reader of what I have written about the prophetic messages of Paul and John, will be the individual that will find the items that John and Paul’s prophecies indicate need to be found. However, various biblical passages also indicate that some people will seek to find the items for one purpose and one purpose only – to destroy them. For that reason I will release the prophetic messages in their entirely at the correct time; that is, when I am sure that I have enough people interested in finding the items with the intention of making these items known to the world.
