Better than Letters to the Editor

The most widely read part of the newspaper is the "Letters to the Editor". However, both the Beach Reporter and EasyReader filter and reduce the size of letters. The Breeze covers too wide an area to be useful. And finally, the dead tree guys, think in terms of pages and ink, so they don't want to provide a forum, only a teaser to get more readers for the paper.

This thing might be a really good place for commentary and discussion about the town's issues. So far, it looks like a well kept secret. Lets change that.
